Section 8(2) in The Chennai Metro Railway (Carriage and Ticket) Rules, 2014
(2)The ticket issued under sub-rule (1) shall be of the following types, namely :-(a)Single journey ticket, which can also be contactless smart tokens or paper contactless smart cards;(b)stored value cards, valid for the period as authorized;(c)Group Ticket for group journey as authorized;(d)any other ticket as authorized in the Business Instructions published by metro railway administration from time to time.
