Notice of motion was issued by this Court on 29.05.2013. The appellant was asked to bring bank draft for an amount of Rs.15000/- in favour of the respondent-Ranjit Kaur towards litigation expenses. On 21.08.2013, fresh notice was issued to the respondent for 12.11.2013. On 12.11.2013 Mr. Maninder Singh Bajwa, Advocate had put in appearance on behalf of the respondent.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that he had asked the appellant to send Rs.15000/- for payment to the respondent. However, he did not send the amount; besides, he has not contacted him despite being informed. He, however, took time to make one more attempt. The case was adjourned for today and the appellant was asked to bring Rs.15000/- towards litigation expenses in favour of the respondent.

Amit Kaundal 2014.01.28 12:45 Learned counsel for the appellant submits that he has I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh FAO No.M-187 of 2013 (O&M) -2- sent registered letter on 22.11.2013 asking the appellant to furnish Rs.15000/- to the respondent towards litigation expenses. However, the appellant has not responded.

In the circumstances, it appears that the appellant is not willing to pay the litigation expenses to the respondent-wife that were determined by this Court. Therefore, the appeal is liable to be dismissed for non-payment of litigation expenses.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for non-payment of litigation expenses.
