(6)The Vice-chancellor shall give effect to the orders of the Board of Management regarding appointment, dismissal, suspension and punishment of the person in the service of the university or teachers of the university or regarding the recognition or withdrawal of the recognition of any such teacher and shall exercise general control over the affairs of the university. He shall be responsible for the discipline of the university in accordance with this Act the statutes and ordinances.
