Section 8(1) in The Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) District Police Act, 1329 F
(1)No Police Officer shall be empowered to withdraw himself from the duties of his office, unless expressly allowed to withdraw by the District Superintendent or by some other officer having such an authority.
