12.27 hrs. ADMIRALTY BILL, 2005 * THE MINISTER OF SHIPPING, ROAD TRANSPORT & HIGHWAYS (SHRI T.R. BAALU): I beg to move for leave to introduce a Bill to consolidate and amend the law relating to the admiralty jurisdiction of courts, legal proceedings in connection with ships, their arrest, detention and sale and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. MR. SPEAKER: The question is:
“That leave be granted to introduce a Bill to consolidate and amend the law relating to the admiralty jurisdiction of courts, legal proceedings in connection with ships, their arrest, detention and sale and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.” The motion was adopted.
