Section 7(a) in Tamil Nadu Cyclone Prone Area Special Building Rules, 1982
(a)The design wind load given in the National Building Code shall be increased by 15 per cent for buildings up to 15 metres height and by 20 per cent for buildings more than 15 metres in height. The extract from National Buildings Code on "Wind load" is appended in Appendix-A.
