Section 178(2) in The Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(2)When a Zila Parishad is dissolved under sub-section (1)-(i)all members of the Zila Parishad shall vacate their offices forthwith;(ii)all powers and duties of the Zila Parishad during its dissolution, shall be exercised and performed by such person or persons as the State Government may appoint in this behalf; and(iii)all properties in the possession of the Zila Parishad shall be held by the State Government.
