(2)A general election shall also be held for the purpose of reconstituting a Grama Panchayat [before the expiry of its term specified in Sub-section (2) of Section 17] [Substituted vide Orissa Gazette Extraordinary No. 426/18.4.1994-Notification No. 6139-Legislative/ dated 18.4.1994.].
