7. Thus, learned State counsel argues that if prayer of the petitioner is accepted, there is every likelihood that he may run away and may not surrender back to the jail authorities.

8. After hearing counsel for both the parties and going through the status report, and noticing of registration of total 16 cases against the petitioner, coupled with the fact that the karmas/ituals of his father are to be performed on 29.01.2025, this Court disposes of the present petition by directing the Jail Authorities to take the petitioner to the place where the karmas/rituals of his father are to be performed, at 10.00 A.M. on 29.01.2025.

9. The required police officials/Jail Authorities would accompany the petitioner to the village, and thereafter, in the evening at 5.00 P.M., he would be taken back to the jail.

10. It would be expected that the ceremonies of karmas/rituals would be performed within time from 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M.

11. With the reasons recorded here above, present petition stands disposed of.
