ORDER:

Heard Sri A.Satya Sadan, learned counsel representing Smt.B.Geeta, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is working as Anganwadi Helper at Model Colony, Chinnakurbalapalle Village, Dalavayi Kothapally Panchayat, Kuppam Mandal, Chittoor District. The complaint of the petitioner is that though, she is entitled to be treated preferentially for the above post, the respondent-Authorities are making attempts to fill up the above post from open market, which is against the orders of the then High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad in W.P.No.31374 of 2015 and Batch dated 16.11.2015.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also brings to the notice of this Court, certain instructions issued by the State Government by means of Circulars in Memo No.9207/ICDSAI/98 dated 23.12.1998 and another Memo No.5771/K3/2006 dated 03.12.2010, whereby, the Anganwadi Helper should be given preferential treatment in such appointments subject to meeting the required eligibility criteria.

Referring to these facts and circumstances, it is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri A.Satya Sadan that the petitioner gave a representation on 20.10.2020 to the 3rd respondent-District Collector and the 4th respondent-Project Director in this respect and that it is not attended to.

5. Learned Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare, in the above circumstances, now states that the representation of the petitioner would be attended to.

6. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.10.2020 within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and dispose of the same in accordance with law and applicable rules. No costs.

Al pending miscellaneous petitions if any, shall stand closed.
