Section 5(2)(a) in Assam Adoption of Standard Weights Act, 1955

(a)Once at least in every five years such secondary standards shall be verified with the primary standards and shall be adjusted or replaced, if necessary, and shall be marked with the date .of verification by such officer as Government may authorise.
