Section 65(3) in Goa Co-operative Societies Rules, 2003
(3)On the presentation of nomination paper, the Returning Officer shall satisfy himself that the names and the number of candidate and of his proposer and seconder are, as entered in the list of voters. If a nomination paper is rejected under this rule, the Returning Officer shall record his reason for rejecting the same and in that case the candidate may deliver a fresh nomination paper subject however to his fulfilling all provisions of this rule:Provided that the Returning Officer shall permit any clerical or technical error in the nomination paper in regard to the said name or number to be corrected in order to bring them into conformity with the corresponding entries in the list of voters and where necessary, clerical or printing error in the said entries shall be overlooked.
