(2)[Section 93(2)(c)(i)] - If a licensee contravenes any of the provisions of these rules or any of the conditions under which the licence is granted then without prejudice to any other action that may be taken against him, the State or a Regional Transport Authority, as the case may be, may, by order, for reasons to be recorded, in writing, forfeit the security in part or in whole :Provided that no order shall be passed under this sub-rule unless the licensee has been given an opportunity of being heard :Provided further that the licensee shall, if the amount of security at any time falls short of the amount specified in sub-rule (1), forthwith deposit further security to make up the amount of security.
