Section 12(1) in U.P. Sugarcane (Regulation Supply and Purchase) Act, 1953
(1)The Cane Commissioner, may for purposes of Section 15, by order, require the occupier of any factory to furnish in the manner and by the date specified in the order to the Cane Commissioner an estimate of the quantity of cane which will be required by the factory during such crushing seasons or crushing seasons as may be specified in the order.
