Section 371(1) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920
(1)If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, as amended by the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1994), the State Government may, by an order published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, make such provisions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as amended by the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1994) as appear to them to be necessary or expedient for removing the difficulty:Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of two years from the date of commencement of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1994).
