Section 63(1) in Dakshin Dinajpur University Act, 2018
(1)The Chancellor shall appoint a person to be the Vice-Chancellor under subsection (4) of section 64, and he shall be the first Vice-Chancellor of the University and shall hold office for such period as may be determined by the Chancellor in consultation with the Minister, from time to time, or his attaining of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier. The first Vice-Chancellor shall exercise all the powers and perform all the duties of the Vice-Chancellor under this Act.
