Section 410F(2) in The Madurai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
(2)Where the hoarding is not removed within the time specified in the notice, the [District Collector] [Substituted for the word 'Commissioner' by the Tamil Nadu Act 26 of 2000.] shall, without further notice, remove such hoarding and recover the expenditure for such removal as an arrear of land revenue.
