2. Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:-
"The petitioner, therefore, prays that this Hon'ble Court be graciously be pleased to issue Rule Nisi calling upon the Opp. parties to show cause as to why a writ of mandamus or any other writ or writs shall not issued
(i) to direct the opp. parties to change the alignment of the proposed Rengali Left Canal at Nijigarh and to exclude the land of the petitioner Company, under Mouza-Nizigada, Tahasil-
Sukinda, Dist-Jajpur for the Rengali Left Canal Project
(ii) if the opposite parties fail to show cause and/or show insufficient cause to make the said rule absolute; and
(iii) to pass such order writ or writs and order or orders which would afford complete relief to the petitioner."
4. He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed representation vide Annexure-8 series to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a Page 1 of 2 direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law and also taking into account the contention raised by the petitioner for grant of compensation within, a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.
6. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
