6. Definition of terms.
- The term "Director" signifies Director of Public Instruction;The term "Divisional Inspector" signifies the Divisional Inspector of Schools; The term "Inspectress" signifies the Inspectress of Girls' Schools;The term "Deputy Inspector" includes both Senior and Junior Deputy Inspector of Schools and applies to both men and women officers;The term "Local Board" means a Municipal Corporation or Council or a Panchayat;The term "Public Funds" includes State Funds and Funds of Local Boards;The term "Mayor" signifies the Mayor of a Corporation and the term "Chairman" signifies the Chairman of Municipality.
