We do nat require to enter into the merits of any of the contentions of the rival parties In this case because, pending this matter, a compromise has been entered into by them, which has been subscribed to by their respective learned counsel alsa,

2. We notice thal a decree had been issued by the Family Court, Ettumanoor in OP No. l00S8/2017 and that an attempt was made to modify the same, on the strength of certain directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, by the appellant herein, by Ailing OP(G&W)Na.2146/2020 before the Family Court, Ernakulam. This original petition was dismissed, holding that the said Court obtained no jurisdiction, against which, she has come up in appeal before this Court.

3. Since, as we have already said ahove, the parties are in agreement with respect to the terms which will bind them in future, we are of the firm wiew that we will be justified in decreeing this appeal based on the same; thus clarifying that the decree of the Family Court, Ettumanoor in OP No. 1008/2017 will also stand modified to such extent.

4. Resultantly, we allow this appeal as per the terms af the joint compromise between the parties dated 06.05.2022, A copy of the said compromise will be appended to the decree and judgment and will form part of it.

5. Neediess to say, all contrary directions/directives in the decree of the Family Court, Ettumanoor in OP No. O08/2017 will become inoperative and the same wil henceforth operate in conformity with the judgment of this Court. The parties will act strictly as per the terms of the compromise and will abide by evary such without fail in fubure.

It also goes without saying that the Registrar of this Court will take steps as per the terms of the campromise. which Is part of the decree, when the parties approach him for such purpose, Sd/~ DEVAN RAMACHANDRAN JUDNSE Sd/- SOPHY THOMAS JOBE SEG 4 APPENDIA.
