Section 7(2) in The Rajasthan Colonisation (Indira Gandhi Canal Project Government Land Allotment and Sale) Rules, 1967
(2)Out of the total cultivable Government land available for disposal under these rules in irrigation systems other than those covered by sub-rule (1), 50% land shall be reserved for allotment under Rule 6 and the remaining 50% shall be sold by public auction.
