Section 249(a) in U.P. Building And Other Construction Workers (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Rules, 2009
(a)Every building worker required to pass through or work within the areas at building or other construction work where there is hazard of his being struck by falling objects or materials, shall be provided by the employer with safety helmets of type and tested in accordance with the national standards.
