(1)Writing material including service postcards and service stamps shall be supplied to convicts, under-trials and civil prisoner as under:-

(i) Convicted prisoners	Once a week
(ii) Unconvicted and civil prisoners	twice a week.

(2)Expenses of postage for additional letters, permissible under the rules shall be borne by the prisoners themselves.
