Section 35(3) in Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002
(3)Who ever without any lawful Authority fells a tree shall be punishable with a fine which shall not be less than two times of the value of such tree but which may extend to five times of value of such tree:Provided that the person responsible for the abetment of such offence or connivance shall also be liable and punished accordingly.
