1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(a)The Act may be called the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962.(b)It extends to the whole State of Punjab.(c)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
