35. [ Statute Governing the Boards of Studies. [Inserted by Notification No. G.S.R. 1158 (E), dated 20.12.2016 (w.e.f. 18.6.2013).]
- 1. Each Department shall have a Board of Studies comprising the following members:a. Head of the Department, who shall be the Chairman & Convenorb. Dean of the School concerned or his/ her nomineec. All the Professors of the Department/ Centre (ex-officio members)d. One Associate Professor of the Department by rotation in order of senioritye. One Assistant Professor of the Department by rotation in order of seniorityf. Two teachers, from amongst the faculty members of the Institute belonging to the allied and cognate disciplines, nominated by the Director.g. Two subject experts, not in the service of the Institute, to be nominated by the Director.
