               HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR

                     WRIT PETITION No.20942 of 2019

ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, representing the respondents and with their consent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking the Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in deleting the names of the petitioners from the respective adangals and the revenue records in respect of Sy.No.176/1 to 4 admeasuring Ac.10.00 cents (Paimashi No.110/B) of Bandladoddi, H/o Kiramanda village, (erstwhile Bangarupalyam Zamindari) Bangarupalyam Mandal, Chittoor District, besides directing to annul the corrected entries without giving notice, as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to change the classification of land "as patta land" from gramakantam".

3. Though various grounds are raised in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners would contend that the representation dated 24.10.2019 may be directed to be dealt with in accordance with law.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that Gramakantam land vests with the Gram Panchayat but however, the Tahsildar may be directed to deal with the representation made by the petitioners in accordance with law.

2

5. Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar, Bangarupalyam Mandal to deal with the representation dated 24.10.2019 made by the petitioners for annulling the corrected entries, in accordance with law, after hearing all the concerned, as early as possible, preferably within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
