Section 5(1) in The Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990
(1)The Corporation shall consist of the following members, namely:-(a)not more than fifty and not less than [twenty-five] [Words substituted by West Bengal Act 7 of 1995 for ] elected Councillors as may be determined by the State Government, and(b)[ such persons having special knowledge or experience in municipal administration as the State Government may nominate from time to time:] [Clause (b) substituted by West Bengal Act 36 of 1994.]Provided that such persons shall not have the right to vote in the meetings of the Corporation.
