- A light shall be kept burning in or near every sleeping barrack or cell through the night. It shall be so placed as to throw sufficient light in the barrack or cell and shall be inaccessible to the prisoners. The Jail Guard on duty shall immediately report to the Head Guard on duty if the light goes out at any time during the night, and shall maintain order.
