(w)“Teacher” means and includes a Distinguished Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, or Research Associate or such other person as may be appointed for imparting instruction or conducting or guiding research in the University or in a Constituent College, and includes the Principal of the Constituent College in conformity with the norms prescribed by the University Grants Commission;
