State of Karnataka - Subsection

Section 2(3)(m) in The Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Staff of Department of Technical Education) Act, 2012

(m)"Unit of Seniority" means,-
(i)for the purpose of posting of Principal, all teaching and non-teaching staff (except in the category of Group-D posts), of the Department of Technical Education shall be the state;
(ii)for the Group-D category of posts, of the Department of the Technical Education the unit of Seniority shall be the District.
