Section 25(1) in Assam Panchayat (Constitution) Rules, 1995
(1)Immediately after expiry of the period of withdrawal of candidature, the Deputy Commissioner or the Sub-Divisional Officer as the case may be, or the officer authorised by him in this behalf, shall, in respect of every election, declare the names of the candidates whose nomination papers have been found valid.
