Section 1 in Karnataka Urban Development Authorities Act, 1987
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Urban Development Authorities Act, 1987.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Karnataka except to the Bangalore Metropolitan Area.(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Act has come into force by notification on different dates in different urban areas. Text of the notifications are at the end of the Act.] as the Government may by notification specify and different dates may be given for different urban areas and for different provisions.
