Rule. Learned APP Shri JK Shah waives service of notice of rule on behalf of the respondent-State of Gujarat.

Applicant - a life convict and in jail since four years, seek temporary bail on the ground of undertaking agricultural activities and to support family in other ancillary activities. In support of his case, a copy of revenue extract in Village Form Nos. 7/12 & 8A are annexed with application depicting the joint holding of the family of the convict. Page 1 of 2

R/CR.MA/11327/2014 ORDER Upon perusal of the jail report, which appears to be reasonably good, it reveals that the applicant is in jail since four years and in the past, whenever he was granted temporary bail/furlough/parole; as the case may be, the applicant has reported to the jail authorities in time.

Considering overall conduct of the prisoner in jail, we are inclined to accede to the request made by the applicant, and accordingly, the applicant-convict is hereby granted temporary bail for a period of fifteen days from the date of his actual release upon furnishing a personal bond of Rs. 10,000/= {rupees ten thousand } to the satisfaction of the jail authorities, on usual terms and conditions, and on condition to mark presence at the nearest Police Station once in a week. On completion of his temporary bail period, the applicant shall report to the jail authorities, which in turn shall send a report to the office of the High Court.

Criminal Misc. Application stands allowed to the aforesaid extent. Rule made absolute with no order as to costs.
