Section 1 in West Bengal Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1960

1. Short title, extent and commencement.

(1)This Act may be called the West Bengal Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1960.
(2)It extends to the whole of West Bengal.
(3)It shall come into [force] [This Act came into force on the 1st March, 1963. Vide notification No. 1216-Vety.] on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
