*m01 SHRI N. CHELUVARAYA SWAMY (MANDYA): I would like to draw the attention of the Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development, through you to the problems being faced by the students and their parents in my Constituency, Mandya, Karnataka as there is no Kendriya Vidyalaya in the region.
The private/Public schools situated in my Parliamentary Constituency are charging exorbitant fees, The common people are facing lot of difficulties in paying such huge amounts. Even though these schools are collecting exorbitant fees, this area lacks good quality English medium schools. There are also a large number of Government servants residing in Mandya. If a Kendriya Vidyalaya is opened in this area, it will be of great help to the middle level and lower people. The people of my Parliamentary Constituency are demanding for establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in the region.
I, therefore, urge upon the Union Government to open a Kendirya VIdyalaya in Mandya, Karnataka on top priority basis.
