(2)Where the total amount of compensation exceeds rupees fifty, it shall be paid in ten equal annual instalment together with interest at 2-½ per cent per annum, calculated in accordance with clause (ii) of Section 28. The first of such instalments shall be payable immediately after the finalization of the compensation statement and the subsequent instalments shall be payable on July 1 each year following the payment of the first instalment.
