Section 89(2) in New Town, Kolkata Development Authority Act, 2007
(2)Wherever the State Government has approved any work outside the limits of the area within the jurisdiction of the Development Authority, the Development Authority may exercise all the powers for construction, maintenance and repair throughout the line of the territory in which such work is situated or though which it is to run, as if such work is situated within the area of jurisdiction of the Development Authority.
