Section 61(1)(b) in The Tripura Co-operative Societies Rules, 1976

(b)The Registrar or any other officer authorised by him shall appoint one or more Election Officers as may be necessary for conducting the election of committee members and the election of President, Vice-President or any other office bearer of the society.
