[8TH January, 1997]An Act to establish and incorporate a University at the national level mainly to promote and develop Urdu language and to impart vacational and technical education in Urdu medium through conventional teaching and distance education system and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.BE it enacted by Parliament in the Forty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
