Section 1(3) in Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Act, 1976
(3)This Act shall come into force in such area, from such date [The whole of the State of Maharashtra with effect from the 5th December 1977, vide G.N., P.W. and H.D., No. MHA. 1077/(3)/Desk-44, dated the 3rd December 1977.], as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint; and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act for different areas.
