Section 55(1) in The Orissa Land Reforms Act, 1960
(1)The Government may constitute for each district a District Executive Committee. The said Committee shall consist of three members of whom the Collector of the district shall be one. The two other members shall be non-officials to be nominated by the Government [who shall, unless the Committee is sooner reconstituted, hold office for a period of three years] [Substituted vide Orissa Act No. 9 of 1974.].
