Sixteenth Loksabha an> Title: The Minister of State of The Ministry of Culture, Minister of State of The Ministry of Tourism and Minister of State in The Ministry of Civil Aviation laid the Status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 97th, 159th and 212th Reports of the Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture THE MINISTER OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE, MINISTER OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CIVIL AVIATION (DR. MAHESH SHARMA): I beg to lay the following statements regarding:
(1) the status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 97th Report of the Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture on Action Taken by the Government on the recommendations/observations contained in the 90th Report of the Committee on `Development of Airport Sector with Special Emphasis on new Modern Airports, pertaining to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
(2) the status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 159th Report of the Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture on Action Taken by the Government on the recommendations/observations contained in the 131st Report of the Committee on `Closure of Bangalore and Hyderabad Airports’; 141st Report of the Committee on `Modernisation of Airports’; and 142nd Report of the Committee on `Functioning of Private Airports’, pertaining to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
(3) the status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 212th Report of the Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture on `Development of Tourism in Darjeeling and Sikkim, pertaining to the Ministry of Tourism.
