Section 64(1) in Chhattisgarh Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2006
(1)The Officer-in-Charge shall maintain a rooster of the cases to be released on the expiry of the period of stay as ordered by the Board. Each case shall be placed before the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee to ensure that there is a smooth transition back to society. With regard to those extreme cases in which the child is kept for the maximum period, action may be initiated six months before they attain the age of 18 years.
