Section 41 in The Maharashtra Specified Co-operative Societies Elections to Committees Rules, 1971
41. Voting procedure.
(1)The voter, on receiving the ballot paper, shall forthwith-(i)proceed to one of the polling compartments;(ii)there make a mark on the ballot paper with the instrument supplied for the purpose on or near the symbol of the candidate for whom he intends to vote;(iii)fold the ballot paper so as to conceal his vote:(iv)if required, show to the Presiding Officer the distinguishing mark on the ballot paper:(v)insert the folded ballot paper into the ballot box; and(vi)quit the polling station.(2)No voter shall be allowed to enter a polling compartment when another voter is inside it.
