Section 73(1) in Punjab Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(1)When any juvenile or child is produced before a Magistrate, and the Magistrate is of the opinion that such person is a juvenile or child, he shall record his reasons and send the juvenile or child to the appropriate institutions.
