Section 9(3) in The Displaced Persons (Verification of Claims) Supplementary Rules, 1954
(3)Witnesses and assessors who attend any proceeding shall be paid diet money and travelling allowances-(a)in the case of witnesses, in accordance with the scale prescribed in this behalf for civil suits in the locality where the proceeding is being conducted;(b)in the case of assessors, in accordance with the scale prescribed for assessors in a Sessions case by the High Court of the State where the proceeding is held.
