Section 16(b) in The Dibrugarh University Act, 1965
(b)to consider the annual report, the annual statement of accounts, the audit report and the budget of the University for the next financial year, to approve the budget, with modifications, if any, to express its vies on the annual report, the budget, with such comments, if any, to express its views on the annual report, the statement of accounts and the audit report and to suggest such measures as it may deem proper on the matters covered by them ;
