Section 9(i) in The Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Staff of Department of Technical Education) Act, 2012
(i)In the case of both husband and wife being State Government employees and if one of the spouse is working in a different zone then the other spouse may be transferred to the same place or nearby place if he is in the same zone subject to availablity of clear vacancy;
