For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Pankaj Srivastava, Advocate For the Resp-State : Mr. Gaurav Raj, AC to AAG-II Mr. Munna Lal Yadav, SC. (L&C)-III .........

08/ 14.01.2026: Heard, learned counsel for the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though in these writ petitions many prayers have been made, but he submits that he confines these writ petitions only to the prayer made in paragraph No. 1(ii). He submits that petitioners will satisfy, if the monthly salary /emolument of the petitioners be paid at par with the Teachers of "Diwakalin Pahariya School" which is granted by the same department which runs the school in which the petitioners are working as a Teacher. He lastly submits that yesterday on 13.01.2026 in W.P.(S) No.5498 of 2022 and other analogous cases (Silas Murmu & Others vs. The State of Jharkhand & Others), this Court had directed the respondents to consider the cases of the petitioners and to increase the monthly salary/ emolument keeping it at par with the "Diwakalin Pahariya School". He submits that if the same order is passed, the petitioners will be satisfied.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the cases of the petitioners can be considered in terms of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No.5498 of 2022 and other analogous cases.

4. After perusal of the record, I find that the cases of the petitioners are similarly situated to that of the petitioners who had filed W.P.(S) No.5498 of 2022 and other analogous cases.

5. Thus, I direct the respondent No.2- the Secretary, Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand to take a decision in respect of revising the pay of these petitioners also. If the payment of the similarly situated Teachers who are working under the said department has been enhanced, there is no reason as to why not the same benefit be extended to these petitioners.

6. The decision should be taken within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid observation, these writ petitions are disposed of.

8. Pending I.A., if any, stands disposed of.
